General planning note for myself for the future: Possible trail-combinations:
Or, why not do it all in one go.
Trail setup
Only 3.5 km long, you might not head out from far away to ride this loop.
Map
Map can be found here (click on Routekaart) (link for downloadable gps-file further down), but also here.
Signage
You'll find two kinds of triangle signs on this trail: the international one with two wheels, and a bike-pictured triangle (where the coloured tip points the direction of the trail). Signage is on the border of scarce, but followable (I don't think I missed out on anything). Oh, there is one point at the beginning where you cross tarmac: of the two options on the other side of the road, take the right-hand one!
Connecting trails
It was not until I was already back home that I realised there was more to try out in the same area, here, and close-by: Oostzaan and Landsmeer. Next time!
Notes
I visited the area in September 2009, and shot off-road for a quickie. After nine years of rough all-terrain biking in Belgium, I felt zapped backed to man-made trails in the US. This is a super-fun loop! Singletrack in abundance, switchbacks, steeeeep winding downs and ups, slanting trails, small bridges ... very condensed ... fantastic! My hands came out aching from intense handling of the handlebars.
