Aarschot
Aarschot is situated about 45 km from Brussels, Belgium

Getting there (from Brussels, Belgium)

  1. Take the E40 towards Leuven.
  2. Switch to E314 towards Genk.
  3. Take exit 22 for Aarschot (N223).
  4. At the lights, turn left. Go under the highway.
  5. At the lights, go straight.
  6. At the next lights, take right.
  7. At the lights at the bottom of the hill, take right.
  8. Follow the winding road. I goes through a square. At a fork, take the one-way street on the left.
  9. At the stop sign, take right.
  10. Just after the bend, take a left into street Demervallei (reaching the swimming pool area).

Notes

I haven't ridden the official trails yet. I was here in October 2009 for the first time, and then again in March 2010, for a guided singletrack ride. Lots of potential in this area!
